Software and data deposit for ETH transfer
Important: Revision of the Exploitation Guidelines (RSETHZ 440.4)Following the revision of the Exploitation Guidelines RSETHZ 440.4 (German), effective 1 July 2026, open-source software no longer needs to be uploaded to the ETH Data Archive. Please upload open source software to the Research Collection or other public repositories, such as GitHub or GitLab in accordance with ETH Zurich's Open Software Release rules. Please contact opensourcesoftware@ethz.ch if you have any questions.
Proprietary software or data shall be uploaded here if:
- you have already been in contact with ETH transfer and have been authorised for a deposit;
- you have an ETH transfer technology reference number (e.g., 202X-XXX) which is required for uploads. If you do not have a reference number, please request it from ETH transfer in advance.
